Enjoy some of the world’s most famous classical music performed by eight excellent string musicians from Vivaldi Orchestra Praga. Led by baroque violinist Václav Návrat, the ensemble brings energy, character and an authentic sound to Vivaldi’s complete Four Seasons.

Unlike many shorter tourist programmes, this concert presents all four parts in one evening. You can experience spring, summer, autumn and winter at any time of the year. The programme also includes Bach’s Air, Mozart’s A Little Night Music and Dvořák’s Waltz in D Major – a selection of some of the best-loved works in classical music.

Authentic sound close to the audience

During this one-hour concert, all eight musicians perform downstairs, directly in front of the audience. You can see every movement of the bows and hear the rich sound of the strings from close by. The music feels immediate, lively and personal.

The ensemble performs on period instruments, similar to those used in Vivaldi’s time. Their special sound gives the Four Seasons more colour, energy and authenticity. These historic instruments are rarely seen at regular classical concerts today.
